Ceticismo, equipolência e virtude intelectual em David Hume

Neste artigo, irei recuperar uma importante questão acerca do debate interpretativo entre ceticismo acadêmico e pirrônico em David Hume. Irei argumentar que a tensão existente entre ceticismo e crença na obra de Hume não é somente historicamente compatível com o ceticismo acadêmico, mas também filosoficamente relevante para que se entenda o real papel do ceticismo mitigado no reengajamento de Hume com a filosofia e a ciência, com base na virtude intelectual da prudência em evitar o erro dogmático.   Palavras-chave: Hume; Academicismo; Pirronismo; Equipolência; Suspensão do Juízo; Prudência Cética.
