Spaced copy of Tesi to Vasen from the episode of Stefano della Bella, Raccolta di vasi diversi, Paris [before 1647], Sheet 1-3 (De Vesme-Massar 1971, 1049-1050), with the urn offering a variant in the center. The same urn, as that of Tesi in a copper engraving by Raphael Morghen after an “invention” by Francesco Algarotti, published by Palese in Venice 1791-94 (British Museum, inv. 1864.0714.52; see Palmerini 1824, 157).
