Kateb Yacine-Djamel Allam : de quelques transcendances textuelles

A biographical statement led the concept of this paper, which in this case, highlights Djamel Allam's keen interest in literature along with particular authors and poets, notably Kateb Yacine. This article aims to answer the issue of whether such attention could not have an impact on the singer's artistic creation. Our contribution focuses on Kateb Yacine by situating the problem in the search for the relationship, “manifest or secret”, of the Katebien text with the songs of Djamel Allam. Our study investigates a corpus of about thirty songs by Djamel Allam using a predominantly transtextual approach. The goal is not to look at a biographical claim, but rather to look at how such an interest in sung texts manifests itself in scripture. The analysis indeed reveals plural transcendences on several levels.
