This poster was commissioned by the National AIDS Campaign of the Commonwealth Department of Health, Housing, Local Government and Community Services in response to the 1993 International Year for the World's Indigenous People which has its theme, Indigenous People - A New Partnership. Details of images with descriptions appear on right including from top: 'The embracing figures, protected by the use of a condom, are the centre around which the birds and other creatures circle in the endless cycle of life and death' ... to bottom right: 'This image, which I call the Soap Tree, represents cleanliness and the purity of air and water'.
