According to the laboratory Sundström in the Physical Department, he has heard that the transparencies must have been used in royal visits in the Botanical Garden. According to Mr Sundstöm, there is a depiction of the Botanical Garden in which the transparencies are visible. The King probably Gustav IV Adolf. The Botanical Garden was consecrated in 1807. Bequest in February 1961 from the Department of Physics, University, Uppsala, in the case of wind clearing.
