Gold and oxidised silver ring with almandine garnet and glass beads. Designed and made by Barbara Paganin (Italy) as part of a masterclass at the Royal College of Arts, London, 2001-2. Wide hoop of gold set with an outer band of oxidised silver pierced with irregular holes. At an angle to the hoop is set a large circular bezel of oxidised silver in the centre of which is a gold crater filled with almandine garnet and glass beads threaded on gold wires. Silver, gold, almandine garnet and glass beads.
