In this final chapter, fields of inquiry are discussed and analyzed based on the interviews conducted. Cross-cultural transmission of blues is looked at with white blues performers carrying on the tradition in the city and reflecting a change of audience and style. The idea that Wichita had its own unique style is put aside, based on the interviews. What is shown is the compelling narratives of how blues made its way into Wichita, from the 1930s through the 1990s and today, and how a Wichita style might still be in the process of forming.
