Adolf Hitler's Memorandum of the Jobs of a Four-Year Plan, Laurent Murawiec.
For the first time and after a detailed presentation, the text of Hitler's Memorandum has been published in French. This text, written in 1936, announced the metamorphosis ofthe Third Reich's peace-time economy to one of wartime. Inspired by the practices and ideologies linked to the First World War wartime economy, taking up the general ideas of autarchy and planism, the Memorandum placed the economy totally in the service of political and military demands. It instituted Goering as the "economic dictator" and sealed the alliance between the military leaders and Hitler.
