FORMATION OF STUDENTS' RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS

Abstrak
Banyak artikel yang membahas tentang toleransi beragama, namun belum banyak yang menjelaskan tentang pembentukan sikap dan perilaku toleransi beragama siswa di lembaga sekolah dasar. Penerapan toleransi beragama sangat penting untuk menjalin kerjasama yang baik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Karena pembentukan sikap dan perilaku toleransi beragama melalui lembaga pendidikan dipandang sebagai bagian dari misi sosial pendidikan untuk membangun masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki keberagamaan. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pembentukan sikap dan perilaku toleransi beragama siswa di lembaga sekolah dasar, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian di tiga sekolah dasar diketahui bahwa: (1) wujud pembentukan sikap dan perilaku toleransi beragama siswa ternyata tidak jauh berbeda. Yakni SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 dengan (a) strategi keteladanan, (b) kegiatan spontan diantaranya adalah berdoa bersama, menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan dan pembiasaan salam. SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 yakni dengan (a) kegiatan ter-program, (b) kegiatan sehari-hari. Sedangkan strategi yang digunakan adalah melalui keteladanan, kegiatan spontan, teguran, pengkodisian lingkungan dan kegiatan rutin. SD Kanisius Kurmosari yakni dengan wujud keteladanan, kegiatan spontan, teguran, pengkodisian lingkungan sekolah dan kegiatan rutin. (2) adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi Pembentukan Sikap dan Perilaku Toleransi Beragama Siswa di SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1, SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 dan SD Kanisius Kurmosari memiliki beberapa pengaruh yang berbeda. Adanya pengaruh tersebut adalah tidak jauh dari kebutuhan dan situasi lingkungan sekolah itu sendiri.

Abstract
Many articles are about religious tolerance, but not much explains the formation of students' religious tolerance attitudes and behaviors in elementary school institutions. The application of religious tolerance is very important to establish good cooperation in improving the quality of education. Because the establishment of attitudes and behaviors of religious tolerance through educational institutions is seen as part of the social mission of education to build a religious Indonesian society. This study examines the formation of attitudes and behaviors of religious tolerance of students in elementary school institutions, using qualitative descriptive research methods with a phenomenological approach. Data collection in this study used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, to analyze the data obtained, researchers use data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of research in three elementary schools are known that: (1) the form of formation of students' religious tolerance attitudes and behaviors is not much different. Namely SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 with (a) exemplary strategies, (b) spontaneous activities including praying together, singing the national anthem and habituating greetings. SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 is with (a) programed activities, (b) daily activities. Meanwhile, the strategy used is through exemplary, spontaneous activities, reprimands, environmental conditioning and routine activities. SD Kanisius Kurmosari is in the form of exemplary, spontaneous activities, reprimands, conditioning the school environment and routine activities. (2) the factors that influence the formation of religious tolerance attitudes and behaviors Students at SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1, SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 and SD Kanisius Kurmosari have several different influences. The existence of this influence is not far from the needs and situation of the school environment itself.
