Chinese ‘New Wave’ and the work of Xu Changjun

В статье рассматриваются особенности художественного течения «Новая волна» в Китае (с 1980-х годов до наших дней), их проявление в творчестве известного композитора Сюй Чанцзюня. На примере его пьесы «Тишина», в которой находят отражение даосское и буддийское понимание философских категорий «молчания» и «пустоты», показаны принципы сочетания элементов древней китайской музыки и современных композиторских техник. The article considers the features of the New wave movement in China (from 1980s up to the present day) and their embodiment in the works of the famous composer Xu Changjun. On the example of his play "Silence" in which the Taoist and Buddhist understanding of philosophical categories of "silence" and "emptiness" find their reflection, the principles of a combination of elements of ancient Chinese music and modern techniques of composition are shown.
