Research on the lubrication characteristics of water hydraulic slipper friction pairs

View through CrossRef
The low viscosity of water makes the film of water in water hydraulic axial piston pump slipper friction pairs very thin, and which can be broken easily. By simulation, analysis, experiment, and comparison, the lubrication characteristics of the new-type water slipper friction pairs, especially its anti-turnover ability, which directly affects the working reliability of the water film, are examined by a study of water's flow pattern. On the basis of the idea of multi-groups of damping and supporting cavity, the independent stiffness adjustment is used to improve the anti-turnover ability of the water slipper friction pairs. Furthermore, on the basis of the N-S equations, the fluid lubrication characteristics of water hydraulic clearance friction pairs are examined more thoroughly and accurately, taking into account the inertia, the surface roughness etc, so as to revise the calculation and analysis results of water hydraulic slipper lubrication characteristics put forth by classical theory.
