THE ROLE OF BLOGGERS IN ENSURING INFORMATION SECURITY

The article examines the impact of social networks and bloggers on the information space of the State and issues of interaction between representatives of the blogosphere and the units ensuring protection of vital interests of an individual and a citizen, society and the State in the field of information. The author examines in detail the peculiarities of a blogging sphere that should be taken into account in the process of sustainable cooperation between the State and bloggers, in particular, with the aim of ensuring the security of the information space. The author considers the issues of bloggers’ influence on the society, the popularity of blogosphere, and the impact of false information disseminated by the enemy on social media on bloggers representing of Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of the information space and the activities of blog writers in social networks as well as the study of the Ukrainian bloggers’ experience, the author draws conclusions about their supporting the image of the State in the international arena, their direct impact on the volunteer movement in Ukraine, as well as strengthening information security in Ukrainian social networks, and focuses on the importance of filming and disseminating evidence of the aggressor’s war crimes on the territory that has been liberated, and, at the same time, the lack of awareness of bloggers in some information security issues.
