The textbook highlights general ideas about the main milestones in the history of entrepreneurship in the world and Russia. An overview of the main issues of the discussion on the ethical justification of entrepreneurship is given. The current directions of the development of modern entrepreneurship and its management methods are revealed in the light of the existing political course in the international arena and in Russia in the context of adapting successful foreign experience to national traditions, as well as within the framework of existing legislative acts and standards. Educational materials for practical training and certification of competencies of those who have studied this discipline are presented.
