R. Mundlak: The Old Man.
View through Europeana Collections
A pair of identical copies from the same postcard, including a reproduction from a drawing by the Jewish artist Regina Mundlak (1887-1942) "Old Jew". One-on-one of the postcard's un divided vein, the artist's name was printed in Hebrew and French, as well as a book. According to this number, it was produced within the first 100 postcards of "Lebanon", Moscow, in 1903, and printed in Warsaw. The other copy is a divided postcard, bearing a later number (141) and the title in which it was printed, alongside Hebrew, in the German language. Apparently, this postcard was printed more close to the beginning of the second decade of the 20th century. Both postcards were not used and were removed from the collection of "Lebanon" postcards donated to the National Library in 1939 by the publisher's editor-in-chief, Mr. Benjamin Mintz, Warsaw.
