Exponential B-Spline Method for Second Order Singularly Perturbed Boundary Value Problem with Negative Shift

In this paper, we present a numerical scheme based on exponential B-spline method for the solution of singularly perturbed delay differential equation. The equation is transformed to singularly perturbed boundary value problem by applying Taylor's series expansion. A three term recurrence relation is obtained and invariant embedded algorithm is applied to get the approximate solution .The convergence of the proposed scheme is discussed. The efficiency of the scheme is illustrated by presenting different examples .The results are compared with available literature and comparatively the method yields better results.
