ELIXIR-Luxembourg – Node activities in training

Since 2016 Elixir Luxembourg, installed at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), has been steadily expanding its training portfolio, establishing consolidated courses to support the professional development of all-level stage researchers. This growth reflects a commitment to enhance the skills of academic researchers through training programs that are relevant, impactful, and aligned with trends in life science. Since 2023 Elixir Luxembourg integrated the Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS) into its node, now encompassing two centres. This strategic enhancement aims to increase the capacity and enable a higher degree of specialisation in its course offerings. The centres aim to deliver training programs that address the needs of diverse audiences, including those in industry and public institutions and to provide a platform for deeper engagement, fostering expertise in key areas and promoting collaboration among researchers. We present the current node activities, the training landscape in Luxembourg, our interactions with other nodes and our plans for the immediate future.
