Kappar (Capparis spinosa L.) vegetativ usulda ko‘paytirishga qiyin bo‘lgan, urug‘ orqali ko‘payishi esa past unuvchanlik va sekin rivojlanish bilan tavsiflanadigan butasimon o‘simlik turidir. Ushbu qiyinchiliklar urug‘larning unishi, poya bo‘laklaridan ildiz hosil bo‘lishi hamda ko‘chatlarni chiniqtirish jarayonlari bilan bog‘liq. Shu sababli, kapparni ko‘paytirishda to‘qima madaniyati (in vitro) usullarini qo‘llash an’anaviy ko‘paytirish usullarining cheklovlarini bartaraf etuvchi istiqbolli yondashuv hisoblanadi.To‘qima madaniyati usullari kappar o‘simliklarini klon tarzida ko‘paytirish, qisqa vaqt ichida ko‘p miqdorda bir xil va genetik jihatdan barqaror o‘simlik materialini olish imkonini beradi. Mikroko‘paytirish usullari, shuningdek, genetik yaxshilash va genofondni saqlash dasturlarida muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
