Gynaecomastia

Abstract
Gynaecomastia refers to the benign proliferation of breast tissue occurring in men. It is a common condition that can cause considerable psychological distress for those affected. Underlying pathology is rare but when present can be identified by a systematic history and examination as well as selected investigations. Treatment options include liposuction and excisional techniques with or without skin resection as required.
