ANALISIS TEBAL LAPIS TAMBAH AC-WC PADA PENINGKATAN RUAS JALAN TASIKMALAYA - KARANGNUNGGAL (KM BDG 117+375 -KM BDG 120+215)

The problem that occurred on the Tasikmalaya - Karangnunggal Road section (Km Bdg 117+375-120+215), was damage to the AC-WC layer added after the road upgrade. This can be caused by the insufficient layer thickness resulting in premature damage. The added layer must have sufficient thickness to ensure that the traffic load is distributed properly so that the pressure and stress on each pavement layer can still be tolerated. Based on the foregoing, it is necessary to analyze the additional thickness of the AC-WC layer on the increase in the road section. The purpose of this study is to determine the thickness of the AC-WC layer plus based on several alternative CBR values and to determine the ideal AC-WC layer thickness on the increase in the Tasikmalaya - Karangnunggal Road section (Km Bdg 117+375- Km Bdg120+215). The method used in this study is a survey method, namely by making direct observations at the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis. The results showed that the thickness of the AC-WC layer added to the increase in the Tasikmalaya - Karangnunggal Road section (Km Bdg 117+375- Km Bdg120+215) based on several alternative CBR values is alternative one with a CBR value of 5.13, the thickness of the flexible pavement layer (added layer) AC-WC) 6.60 cm, alternative two with a CBR value of 5.47 obtained a flexible pavement layer thickness (AC-WC added layer) 6.23 cm, alternative three with a CBR value of 4.72 obtained a flexible pavement layer thickness (plus layer AC-WC) 6.98 cm and alternative four with a CBR value of 4.42 obtained a flexible pavement layer thickness (AC-WC plus layer) of 7.35 cm. The ideal additional layer thickness of AC-WC on the increase in Jalan Tasikmalaya - Karangnunggal (Km Bdg 117+375- Km Bdg 120+215) is 7.35 cm.
