This article aims to review the study Alone: The Life of Mihail Sebastian by Tatiana Niculescu. Compared to the other studies devoted to Sebastian, this publication brings as a novelty the focus of the research on the man Mihail Sebastian, but, of course, it also brings clarifications on his way of thinking and creation. Written in a clear and unaffected manner, this research brings into discussion episodes that marked the life of Sebastian and impeccably completes the critical image dedicated to him.
