SOULEYMANE BACHIR DIAGNE : L’UNIFORMISATION À L’ÉPREUVE DE LA DÉCOLONISATION

View through CrossRef
Abstract: The current world, particularly black African, expresses a need for decolonization. This is opposed to the policy of standardization which is damaging to the integrity of peoples. We would be tempted to understand that decolonization would be at the origin of two trends: « on the one hand, universalism draped in its self-definition and, on the other, particularisms attached to its loss » (Diagne 2021, 86). But this meaning is opposed to that which we want to defend in this study which places decolonization in the perspective of the thought of Diagne. Our objective is to show the importance of the expression of the plural in the decolonization process. Keywords: Standardization, particularism, decolonization, living together, endogenous knowledge
