On this sheet you can see a copper blacksmith at work. One looks through an arched window in the foreground into his workshop. Finished products are on the windowsill. In the middle of the leaf you can see the copper blacksmith as he is working with his hammer a cauldron part. Behind him a stove is blazing. Under another window in the background are juxtaposed boilers. Under the effigy is a rhyme.
The sheet is not signed. It comes from the book as number 65 out of a total of 114 woodcuts: "Eygentliche Es of all stalls for earth, high and drier, spiritual and secular, all arts, palms and towels. Due to the wide-bodied Hans Sachsen gantz described meatly and in teutsche Reimen, Frankfurt a.M. 1568. " The woodcuts for the book were created by the native of Zurich graphic artist Jost Amman (1539-1591).
