Gakutei Sadaoka egaki GG定 GGseries of three leaves, depicting the three heroes of the Chinese novel “San guozhi yanyi” (jap: Sankokushi engi G様 GGG). In addition to Zhang Fei (jap: Chōhi), Kuan Yü (jap: Kan 'u) and Liu Pei (jap: Ryūbi od. Gentoku) belong to the group. The scene is part of the beginning of the novel, where the three meet in a peach garden and make a swear on a common fight and eternal assistance. Interesting is the beaker that Zhang Fei holds in his hand, and that is done in the Western style.
