The Honey Pump is pleased to present "Quantum Blue", a presentation of recent paintings by Alexandra Hammond. Hammond’s paintings are the poetic, pictorial, and symbolic manifestations of her practice in meditation and as mentor of the Shanga—a group invested in the parallels of neuroscience and somatic, embodied understanding. "Quantum Blue" elicits a limitless sky where ribbons twist suspended in space, acting as frame, cartouche, and Mobius strip—a symbolic infinite loop.
