London 29. Juny 1804./ On the right hand the Prince of Wallis is half seen. The little fat/ man beside him is H. Tyrwhitt, his secretair. On the sofa sits Mr.s/ Fitzherbert. Behind the same stand the Duke of Clarence (with the fat face), him grasping under the arm of Mr.s Jordan the actress, his mistress./ Behind him to his left looks out General Fitzherbert and to his left Colonel/ MacMahon. Count Carlisle hands a billet to Fitzherbert. Mr. Grey/ and Erskine overlook the plan of operations. Count Moira stands behind Fox./ Behind Madam Fox stand the Lady Hamilton, Obrist Greville and the Duchess of Devonshire. The lowest stooping is the Marquis/ of Buckingham; beside him is his brother Lord Grenville and below/ this Lord Temple (son of Buckingham). Burdett, Horne Tooke, and Tierney/ stand in a group; the beautiful woman beside is Countess Derby with her/ consort. Sheridan and Windham snort here from a can! Behind them/ stands Lady Buckinghamshire and Nicholl. Above with the triangular hat/ Lord Cholmondeley; beside him Earl and Countess Salisbury. The lady with/ the thistle on her headdress is the Duchess of Gordon/ Robert Adair who writes a great deal for the Morning Chronicle has this/ sheet in his hand. Jones is smelling a camphor bottle. Further down, General Walpole. Duke of Bedford sits at the table: next to him the Duke of Norfolk.
