Composer Snejana Pislari: the steps of forming a creative personality

The article examines the personality and creative activity of the composer Snejana Pislari, reveals her contribution in the field of national composition, her activity in the pedagogical, publishing and social fields, and discloses the process of formation of her artistic and aesthetic principles that was finalized under the influence of established teachers – Loghin Turcanu, Vladimir Bitkin, Constantin Rusnac and Pavel Rivilis. The full list of Snejana Pîslari’s published works is presented. The composer’s genre, style and timbral priorities are highlighted. In conclusion, the stylistic paradigms of her creation – the tendency towards minimalism, repetitive technique and neofolklorism – are exposed.
