Signed on the back of the canvas, later painted older writing: “Beck pinx.” Later impoverished older writing on the back of the canvas: “Axel Oxenstierna” and illegible writing. On the frame patch: “MUSEE CARNAVALET EXPOSITION LA SUEDE ET PARIS N: o 120.” Stifted tension frame. Smooth fururam with veneer of blackened hardwood, closest to the canvas jumplist. The width of the frame list 67 mm. The frame too small for the painting. On the Sheet of the Frame: “David Beck (d 'apres) Le Comte Axel Oxenstierna (1583-1654) Chancelier du Royaume Collection du Baron R. von Essen”
