Climate change significantly affects the viticulture sector and economy in Turkey. . High temperatures can impact the fruit ripening process in grape cultivation and reduce product quality. Additionally, irregular rainfall and periods of drought can reduce the water resources necessary for viticulture and lead to yield losses. This situation can negatively affect the incomes and economic conditions of grape producers. Therefore, appropriate policies and agricultural practices must be adopted to combat climate change and ensure the sustainability of the viticulture sector.
