The Grammar of Reality

This paper proposes that the foundational processes underlying both material and conceptual phenomena share a common grammar: Distinctions, Systems, Relationships, and Perspectives (DSRP). DSRP is presented not as a metaphorical or epistemic model, but as a structural ontology—a recursive, generative pattern by which reality organizes itself across scale. Rather than treating structure as static or emergent from external laws, DSRP formalizes the process of organization itself: how identities arise, systems form, relationships co-define, and perspectives shape what is seen. This framing aligns with philosophical traditions that prioritize process over substance, including autopoiesis, process metaphysics, and relational interpretations of quantum mechanics and information theory. A structural isomorphism table is presented to demonstrate DSRP’s presence in quantum systems, molecular chemistry, biological life, cognition, culture, and society. The paper contributes to structural realism by offering DSRP as a universal, scale-invariant grammar of organization underlying the very fabric of reality.
