Saint Anthony the Abbot by Saturnino Gatti

3D model that reproduces the statue of Saint Anthony the Abbot in polychrome terracotta, the work of Saturnino Gatti dated to 1512 c. Judged irrecoverable in 2009 after the earthquake, it was fragmented into over 800 fragments that were patiently collected from the ruins of the Fortress of L'Aquila, the sculpture was then fortunately restored thanks to a conservation project funded by MIBACT. Coming from the Church of Santa Maria del Ponte in Tione degli Abruzzi (L'Aquila, Abruzzo, IT), it is exhibited at the MUNDA-National Museum of Abruzzo, in L'Aquila.
