MACEDOROMÂNII ÎN DOBROGEA (1925–2025)

View through CrossRef
"This volume marks the centenary of the Romanian Government's acceptance of receiving property in the territory of Southern Dobrudja (Dobrogea), Romania, through the Journal of the Council of Ministers no. 1698 of June 13, 1925, of the Macedo-Romanians (Aromanians and Megleno-Romanians) from the Balkan area. An essential role in this process was played by the Macedonian-Romanian Culture Society, founded in 1879 and officially recognized on April 15, 1880. Over time, the Macedo-Romanians have constantly settled in the Romanian space, remembering only the great scholar and saint Andrei Șaguna. After the formation of the modern Romanian State, the Romanian authorities recognized the linguistic affinity and the common origin of the Aromanians with the Romanians."
