Pool, Pool, Porcelain with underglaze blue flower and flat design

This bottle has a narrow mouth with an outward rolled lip, a long neck, a drooping, bottom-heavy body and rests on a foot. The foot undercuts the body, and the surface has turning marks. Painted in a light tone of underglaze cobalt blue, a ring with stylized banana plant leaves collars the neck, and a flower and leaf design adorns the upper half of the body. A bluish tinged, irregular glaze covers the surface. On one side, the glaze has a dense crackle and a brownish tone due to staining. A large amount of kiln grit adheres to the base and the footrim. The bottle has a rope tied around the neck below the mouth, probably for hanging the bottle on a wall.
