In January 2017, an excavation was carried out around the Tel Regev cemetery (Permit No. A-7892; map ref. 211611–2513/741251–866; Fig. 1), prior to its expansion. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Tel Regev Cemetery Council, was directed by A.S. Sa‘id (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Amrani (administration), S. Davidov (area supervision), R. Mishayev (surveying and drafting), D. Porotsky (plans) and A. Dagot (GPS).
