Extensor mechanism variation of the index finger

View through CrossRef
Abstract The extensor indicis proprius (EIP) tendon and extensor digitorum communis (EDC) tendons are the main extensor tendons of the second finger. Different variations of extensor tendons are frequently reported. In our report, we describe a variation of the index finger extensor mechanism in a healthy subject. Keywords: Extensor mechanism variation; index finger. DOI: 10.3944/AOTT.2014.14.0240 This abstract belongs to the un-edited version of the article and is only for informative purposes.
