Galeria Jaqueline Martins presents “Lydia Okumura,” the artist's second solo show organized at our São Paulo gallery. Occupying three floors, the show is composed of space installations, sculptures and paintings that have not been seen by the Brazilian public since the 1980s. While not directly influenced by the Neo-Concrete movements happening in Brazil during the 1950s, Okumura’s work follows a trajectory of abstraction found throughout Latin American art.
