LOOMing bags

In the words of the artist: "The process, in which a thread becomes cloth and cloth becomes an object, is filled with magic. This series of bags, inspired by looms and knitting machines from different periods and cultures, explores the relationship and hierarchy between tools and finished product. My work combined traditional techniques with modern industrial techniques. The colorful stitching emphasizes the structure of the bag and the process of its creation. The linings, made of parchment and silk, are printed in fabric patterns and are a tribute to the handiwork of my grandmother."
