A studio visit with Zhang Liaoyuan 张辽源

View through Artsy
During a research trip to Hangzhou, China, Cila Brosius—curator at Three Points—visited several art venues, as well as local artists and curators. One of the highlights of this trip was a visit to Zhang Liaoyuan's studio, located in the tranquil Liangzhu Cultural Village, about 20 km from the city center. Here, on a rainy October morning, surrounded by bamboo that rose beside the studio windows, the artist presented a variety of different photographic and installation works.
