Stained glass window from the Tarnów cathedral

Stained glass window depicting St. Jerome, Saint Thomas Aquinas and St. Alphonse Maria di Liguori, made in the Tyrolean Mosaic and Stained Glass Works in Innsbruck (Tiroler Glasmalerei und Mosaik Anstalt) in 1891. This stained glass was created as a result of the comprehensive conservation and expansion of the cathedral. The project prepared by prof. Julian Zachariewicz, who also supervised its implementation in the years 1889-1892. The stained glass window is located in the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tarnów - the window of the presbytery expanded in 1891. The other stained glass windows from the same workshop show the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Lawrence (St. Laurentius), St. Blaise, St. Joseph and St. Ignatius, St. Helena and St. Barbara.In the aisles there are stained glass windows ordered from Carl Geyling's Viennese workshop. Made in the years 1891-1899, the stained glass windows show "Resurrection of Piotrowin", "Adoration of the Magi", "St. Thomas Aquinas", "St. Jerome" and "St. Alphonsus Liguori", also "Christ the Good Shepherd" and "St. Anna ". Contemporary stained glass, designed by Józef Furdyna, were made in 1986 in the Krakow studio of Anna and Ireneusz Zarzycki.
