The Political Project of Maxim Gorky and “New Life”

Starting from the project of M. Gorky to found a radical democratic party, the article explores Maxim Gorky’s attitude to the October Revolution in his articles in the “Novaya Zhizn” newspaper, and reviews articles by other editors. Such an analysis irrefutably proves that the writer’s position on this issue does not contradict the details of his biography, but, on the contrary, is a consistent development of his political thought.
