Electrochemical C3‐Site‐Selective Cyanation of Substituted Indoles
View through CrossRef
ABSTRACT
An electrochemical strategy for C3‐site selective cyanation of substituted indoles is reported. This protocol employs TMSCN as a cyano source, yielding C3‐cyano indoles in moderate to good yields. The electrochemical strategy is distinguished by its mild and oxidant‐free conditions, with good regioselectivity. A variety of protected and unprotected indoles has been successfully utilized in this methodology.
