AbstractAus dem baltischen Bernstein werden an Hand der CASPARY'schen Originale Cephaloziella dimorpha (CASPARY) comb. nov. ( Jungermannia dimorpha CASPARY) und Bazzania polyodus (CASPARY) comb. nov. ( Lophocolea polyodus CASPARY) eingehend beschrieben und abgebildet. Die von CASPARY angegebene Dimorphie von C. dimorpha beruht auf der Verkennung eines apikalen Andröziums. C. dimorpha ist der erste paläontologische Nachweis der Cephaloziellaceae und sehr nah verwandt mit rezenten Arten in Mitteleuropa. Aufgrund der oberschlächtigen Blätter kann B. polyodus nicht zu den Lophocoleaceae gehören, für die damit die einzige paläontologische Angabe zu streichen ist. B. polyodus ist ein isoliertes Taxon ohne nähere Verwandte in Europa oder den Tropen. Sie ist der erste paläontologische Nachweis der Lepidoziaceae.
