Troitsko-Aleksandrovskaya manufactory of the Baranovs -the forgotten calico capital

В статье представлена история крупнейшего текстильного предприятия Владимирской губернии - Троицко-Александровской мануфактуры Барановых. Она сыграла значительную роль в становлении не только ситцевого производства XIX -начала XX века, но и стала градообразующим предприятием региона. Выпускаемая продукция была известна не только на внутреннем рынке, ее с удовольствием покупали в Европе и странах Средней Азии, что говорит о высоком качестве изделий. За прекрасное качество тканей и платков, мануфактура получала наивысшие награды на Всемирных промышленных выставках. После революционных событий начала XX века мануфактура изменила свое название, но традиции производства знаменитых барановских ситцев была сохранена вплоть до закрытия производства. Память о предпринимательских традициях прошлого во многом может помочь добиться успехов в становлении и развитии современной промышленности. The article presents the history of the largest textile enterprise in the Vladimir province - the Troitsko-Aleksandrovskaya manufactory of the Baranovs. It played a significant role in the development of not only calico production in the 19th - early 20th centuries, but also became a city-forming enterprise in the region. The manufactured products were known not only in the domestic market, they were gladly bought in Europe and the countries of Central Asia, which indicates the high quality of the products. For the excellent quality of fabrics and scarves, the manufactory received the highest awards at the World Industrial Exhibitions. After the revolutionary events of the beginning of the 20th century, the manufactory changed its name, but the tradition of producing the famous Baranovsky calico was preserved until the production was closed. Remembering the entrepreneurial traditions of the past can in many ways help to achieve success in the formation and development of modern industry.
