การพัฒนาหนังสือเด็ก ชุด ทศชาติชาดก เรื่อง “ความดีงามของพระเนมิราช” (The development of a children’s book in the Ten Jatakas series: The Virtues of Phra Nemiraj)

การจัดการทางวัฒนธรรมทางด้านวรรณกรรมชาดก ที่มีภาษาความลึกซึ้งต่อการทำความเข้าใจ และความหมายที่แฝงไว้ในภาพประกอบที่มีความวิจิตรงดงาม ทำให้ยากต่อการปลูกฝังคุณธรรม จริยธรรมที่สำคัญให้กับเด็กและเยาวชน บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้จากกระบวนการการพัฒนาหนังสือเด็ก ชุด ทศชาติชาดก เรื่อง “พระเนมิราชชาดก” ที่ส่งเสริมคุณธรรม จริยธรรม เผยแพร่สู่สาธารณชน ผลจากการสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้จากข้อมูลหนังสือนิทานชาดกที่มีจำนวนมากกว่า 5 รูปแบบ โดยเฉพาะเนื้อหาจากหนังสือทศชาติ ฉบับความย่อ ที่จัดพิมพ์ในปี พ.ศ. 2518 ในอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน ทำให้ได้แก่นเนื้อหาสารประโยชน์ที่สำคัญของชาดกแต่ละเรื่อง นำไปสู่การสร้างสรรค์หนังสือเด็ก เรื่อง “ความดีงามของพระเนมิราช” ได้จัดพิมพ์เป็นรูปเล่ม ขนาด 20 x 26 เซนติเมตร จำนวน 36 หน้า แนวนอน พิมพ์สี่สีทั้งเล่ม ทำให้ค้นพบว่าหลักการและแนวคิดการพัฒนาหนังสือเด็กนั้น ต้องให้ความสำคัญกับแนวคิดของเนื้อหา รูปแบบภาพประกอบ และเทคนิควิธีการ ผลการสร้างสรรค์พบว่า หนังสือมีส่วนช่วยส่งเสริมคุณธรรม จริยธรรม ให้แก่เด็กได้พอสมควร โดยเฉพาะภาพประกอบที่มีรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมกับช่วงวัยของเด็ก ที่มีช่วงอายุตั้งแต่ 7-12 ปี ช่วยสร้างความสนุกสนาน เพลิดเพลิน และทำให้เด็กเข้าใจหลักธรรมคำสอนในเรื่องราวได้ง่ายยิ่งขึ้น ทำให้เด็กเกิดการเรียนรู้คุณธรรมผ่านภาพประกอบหนังสือที่มีรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมกับวัยของเด็กได้เป็นอย่างดี The cultural transmission of Jataka literature presents challenges in fostering moral and ethical values among children and youth due to its complex language and the layered meanings conveyed through elaborate illustrations. This article aims to synthesize knowledge derived from the development process of a children’s book in the Ten Jatakas series, Phra Nemiraj Jataka, designed to promote moral and ethical values for public dissemination. The study draws on an analysis of more than five formats of Jataka storybooks, with particular emphasis on the abridged edition of the Ten Jatakas published in 1975, tracing developments from the past to the present. This synthesis yielded the essential thematic and moral elements of the Jataka narratives, which informed the creation of the children’s book titled The Virtues of Phra Nemiraj. The resulting book was produced in a horizontal format, measuring 20 x 26 centimeters and comprising 36 pages with full-color printing throughout. The creative process highlights that the development of children’s book should prioritize conceptual clarity of content, appropriate illustration styles, and effective production techniques. The findings indicate that the book contributes meaningfully to the promotion of moral and ethical values among children, particularly through illustrations tailored to the development stage of readers aged 7-12. These age-appropriate visual elements enhance enjoyment, engagement, and comprehension, enabling children to more easily understand moral teachings and internalize ethical values through visual storytelling.
