Analysis of Consumer Preferences for Topo Fried Shallot Products: Case Study in Topo Village, Tidore District, Tidore Archipelago City, North Maluku Province

This study aims to (1) determine, prove, and analyze the effect of flavor on the preference for fried shallots in Topo, Tidore Islands City, North Maluku Province. (2) To identify, prove, and analyze the effect of price on the preference for Topo fried shallots in Tidore Kepulauan City, North Maluku Province. (3) To identify, prove, and analyze the effect of smell on the preference for Topo fried shallots in Tidore Kepulauan City, North Maluku Province. (4) To determine, prove, and analyze the effect of brand on the preference for Topo fried shallots in Tidore Kepulauan City, North Maluku Province. This research was conducted among young people in Tidore Kepulauan City, particularly in Topo Village. The research was conducted for approximately 6 months, from May to October 2024. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and survey technique. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaire distribution, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression.
