The legs from Collelongo

View through Europeana Collections
3D model representing the Legs from Collelongo preserved in Chieti, in the National Archaeological Museum of Abruzzo. The legs, carved in high-relief, found in the locality of Amplero and for a few years walled up in the enclosure of a private property in Collelongo, are known with the popular name of "devil's legs". This is the lower part of a high relief sculpture which, for its style, looks very close to the model of the Warrior from Capestrano. 3D model created as part of the ARS project in collaboration between the Abruzzo Regional Directorate of Museums, CAAM / Disputer department of the G. D'Annunzio University of Chieti, funded by EuroTeCH.
