Stele from Penna Sant'Andrea 2

3D model representing the Stele n. 2 from Penna Sant’Andrea preserved in Chieti, in the National Archaeological Museum of Abruzzo. The text, although very fragmentary, says that the Princes (nerf) of the Safini (safinúm) "evoke, celebrate" something, probably in relation to the commemoration of a chief of the community. The three steles found in the necropolis of Penna Sant’Andrea, one entirely reconstructed and two fragmentary, are characterized by the schematic and elongated faces represented on the upper part of the stele and by the long inscriptions in the lower part.
