Experimental study on seepage and fracture development law of rainfall slope based on direct current electric method

View through CrossRef
Abstract In order to study the seepage law and fracture evolution characteristics of waste dump slope, a simulation test system for rainfall instability and failure evolution of large-scale waste dump slope is independently developed under the engineering background of waste dump slope under rainfall conditions. According to the seepage law and fracture evolution characteristics of the waste dump slope, the simulation test of the waste dump rainfall process monitored by the DC resistivity method is carried out. The research results show that there is an obvious negative correlation between the complete slope soil resistivity and the water content. The resistivity increases during the development of the slope fracture and decreases during the water infiltration; Under the influence of rainfall conditions, the internal resistivity value of the waste dump slope shows a downward trend during the 0-5th rainfall, shows a linear downward trend after the fluctuation rises to a gentle level during the 6-90th rainfall, and shows a sharp fluctuation during the 91-110th rainfall; The evolution process of waste dump slope fracture has experienced three stages: saturated water of slope soil, the initiation and expansion of capillary zone, the formation of dominant water channel, and the formation and expansion of waste dump slope fracture. The test results have certain guiding significance for the study of waste dump slope and disaster prevention.
