Everted rim; tall, cylindrical neck; groove at junction between neck and body; low, rounded body; vertical handles with somewhat convex profile from below rim to junction between neck and body; groove at junction between body and base; low ring base. Pinkish clay; black glaze; ochre wash; added white paint. On both sides of body a large, reserved panel covering rim, neck and upper body: vertical strokes and a row of dots on rim; on neck a zone of alternating black and reserved lozenges, the black lozenges each containing a white lozenge and a dot, the reserved ones a black lozenge and a dot; below this a white laurel branch with leaves and berries on black ground; on shoulder another row of vertical strokes and dots; lower side of base/resting surface reserved; on underside a scraped groove, two concentric circles and a central dot.
