Aim: The Historical Archives of State Security Services and Kronosz Publishing House published the fourth volume of the Legacy of Our Recent Past series, the presentation of the book Counterintelligence in Hungary 1975-1985.
Methodology: review
Findings: The author reviews only 11 years of the history of Hungarian counterintelligence, thus giving him the opportunity to accurately present every single detail of the field.
Value: Among the many values of the book, its detail and professionalism deserve special mention. The analyses carried out in the light of the international situation and political processes in Hungary shed new light on the counter-espionage activities of the party state.
