COVID-19 The story behind the golf scene

The purpose of this study has been based on phenomenologically analyze the story of the COVID-19 golf scene. From March to May 2022, a total of six people who were engaged in the golf industry were selected as research participants through the snowball sampling method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. Data analysis was analyzed with three characteristics of technical phenomenology (Giorgi, 2009) based on the transcribed data. As a result of the analysis, the results were drawn about the current situation of the golf industry and the prospect of golf. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the COVID-19 situation in the golf industry market is having a positive effect due to the increase in the golf population, but it should be introduced as a sustainable situation. Accordingly, it is necessary to analyze the current golf situation academically and continuously present related problems.
